1. Sarah Slean would be a more captivating listen in the opposite order -- showing the clear progression of what could be a powerhouse new female pianist. As it is, this disc is front loaded with catchiness, but the back end is worth a listen as well/5(21).

4. Sarah Slean Comments: Note: the cd reissue of the original cassette has 2 extra "hidden" tracks in addition to the 6 on the tape: one more by Sarah Slean and a cover of a Radiohead song. 5. In October , Slean released a mostly-live album, Orphan Music, which consists of songs recorded live at Toronto's Harbourfront Theatre and the Vancouver East Cultural Centre. 6. [Sarah Slean] is, by far, my favourite discovery of the year. With a sweet, stirring blend of piano and strings, her voice versatile and steady, Sarah is a very talented songstress creating her moods perfectly. "Twin Moon" is by far my favourite song from this EP, my least favourite perhaps "Book Smart, Street Stupid" but its growing on me /5(9).
